Polyethylene wraps are made from two types of ethylene polymers, high (HDPE) and low (LDPE) density polyethylene resins. The HDPE is extruded into a film which is then spun into spools of yarn. Then using the water jet looms, HDPE yarn is woven into a fabric. Then the woven fabric is coated using LDPE resin. The strength of the fabric depends on the mesh count. 

All of our lumber wrap products are pretreated with Ultra Violet Inhibitor (UVI) for extended outdoor usage. In cold climates, sand or salt and other mixtures distributed on the roads can cause corrosion and a sand blasting type of effect. Whether you are transporting your goods by rail or truck, with our polyethylene or polypropylene wraps and bags, you can be assured that your product will arrive clean and dry.
